Congratulations, Fr. Germán, on 25 years of priesthood! |

 On May 21, Fr. Germán Barona, MSC, a member of the MSC Community in Bogotá, Colombia, celebrated his 25th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood at Santa Margarita María de Alacoque Parish (a parish the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart have served since 1969 and where Fr. Germán was ordained and also where he currently serves as pastor). The celebration was attended by the bishop of the Diocese of Fontibón, the members of the MSC community, parishioners, and Fr. Germán's relatives and friends. It was a special occasion, with Fr. German sharing his memories of his ordination and how he came to join the MSC community.
The MSC communities in Colombia and the United States congratulate Fr. German on his silver jubilee and pray that the Lord might grant him many more years of service with his community. May God bless him always.
