Missionaries of the Sacred

On August 6, Fr. Luis Segura and the MSC community in Colombia welcomed a new member as Miguel Henrry Piamba made his first profession of vows* at St. Margaret Mary Parish in Bogota. On the same day, six members renewed their vows: Jesús Felipe Trejo, William Tobar, Favio Castro, Fayber Vargas, Juan Pablo Romero and Ernesto Caicedo. With great joy, the MSC Colombia Section and the MSC USA Province congratulate all of these young men and their families. We welcome these newest members of our Religious community and pray that the Lord will continue to accompany them as they continue their studies and preparation for the priesthood.

* First vows, also called temporary vows, are usually taken for a period of one year and renewed twice before final vows (also called perpetual or life-long vows) are taken. Each MSC takes the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.
