MSC Novices in the Dominican RepublicOn August 15, 2008, ten young men began the Novitiate at the MSC Vocation Center in Licey al Medio, Dominican Republic. The group included three Colombian seminarians: Felipe Trejo, Ernesto Odilio Caicedo and William Andrés Tovar. The ten novices represented five different countries including Italy, Colombia, Peru, Haiti and of course, the Dominican Republic. On the same day, the MSC community in the Dominican Republic also welcomed two new members and celebrated the professions of three others. Jansel Hernández and Amós Jean made their first profession of vows as MSC, Eric Jean renewed his vows, and Joel Deprè and Vignol Louis made their final professions. We celebrate with the MSC in the Dominican Republic the growing number of vocations and we continue to keep all these young men in our prayers.

May the Sacred Heart be loved everywhere!
