Each year the FBI publishes the Uniform Crime Report (UCR), which gives information about various types of reported crimes in the United States, including hate crime incidents. Single-bias incidents refer to one or more offense types that are motivated by the same bias. The UCR also gives more detailed information about each form of bias. For instance, two-thirds (65.7%) of incidents motivated by a religious bias were anti-Jewish, and close to two-thirds (64%) of the 1,148 offenses committed based on the perceived ethnicity/national origin of the victim were due to anti-Hispanic bias.
