Do you want to share your God-given talents? We are currently looking for bi-lingual (English/Spanish) volunteers to help us translate various materials from English into Spanish. We also rely on volunteers to help us with our special events. Our Life's Healing Journey retreat ministry also has some volunteer opportunities. Part of leading a truly human life is volunteering, not just because of what we give to others when we donate our time, but also because of what we receive through the experience. In times of economic stress it is even more important to volunteer, both because our time and services are needed by more people and because we need something to focus on other than the difficulties and uncertainty we are experiencing. In this spirit, we invite you to listen to Dr. Jorge Partida’s keynote address about volunteerism, given at the Celebrating Volunteers gathering at Waubonsee Community College in Illinois earlier this month. Dr. Partida is a consultant to the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.
