Sample bulletin announcements to help promote resources for pregnant women in need.
Several organizations focus on assisting women (and their partners) who are facing an unexpected or difficult pregnancy. Several of these organizations have offices nationwide, but there may also be local organizations that are helping meet the need specifically within your community. Consider helping raise awareness of these resources within your parish, not only to reach parishioners (or their children or grandchildren) who may need the help, but also so your parishioners have the information in case someone they know - a family member, friend, classmate, neighbor, coworker, etc. - needs help with a difficult or unexpected pregnancy in the future.
These bulletin announcements are examples, meant to give a few ideas for possible approaches. Consider rotating announcements to keep them “fresh.” If your parish or local community offers help to pregnant women and/or parents in need (such as counseling, assistance with adoptions, daycare, food and clothing, etc.), you will likely want to create different announcements that raise awareness of these services.
Take the Good Stewardship Self Assessment to identify ways you can help take better care of God's creation. Take the assessment yourself or make it a family event or parish group activity. Find three ways you can become a better steward of God's creation and implement one each month.
