St. John the Baptist runs a food pantry that serves low income community resi­dents. In 2008, parishioners also began a health clinic for people who are unin­sured. Fr. Ray and Fr. Tony recently took on a new ministry, assisting at a nearby hospital after its chaplain was reassigned. The parish also runs a recycling program, recycling 8.35 tons of paper in June alone.

Holy Family

On July 27, the parish hosted a blood drive, and each summer, it holds a three-day festival which supports parish operations while also providing family fun and strengthening the sense of community. The parish’s youth group is quite active, and recently participated in the Easton Relay for Life to support the American Cancer Society. It was the first youth group in the relay’s history to form a team.
