We, the MSC, hope to reconnect with and show our gratitude to friends, families, and benefactors in Ohio. Over the years, the strong MSC presence in Ohio touched many lives, and although we are no longer present in Ohio, our friends and benefactors there continue their unwavering support of our mission. Our main ministries in Ohio were the Sacred Heart Novitiate and Retreat House in Youngstown and the Sacred Heart Seminary in Shelby. Many of our priests and brothers lived and worked in both locations. In Canton, our priests served St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church for 20 years and St. Paul Catholic Church for five years. We also helped out during the weekends at local parishes. Some of our members also served in the roles of principal, prison chaplain, deputy warden (treatment), and hospital chaplains in several cities.
