Luis Alfonso Segura, MSC, Sectional Superior**. Congratulations Jesús Felipe Trejo, William Andrés Tobar Solarte, Juan Pablo Romero, Faiber Vargas, Favio Castro y Ernesto Odilio Caicedo. May the Holy Spirit guide you and help you give living witness to the love of God in the world.

At the same time, the MSC community gathered to goodbye to Miguel Henrry Piamba and Jairo Palacios, who are entering their novitiate year, which starts on August 15 and takes place in the Dominican Republic. May God bless both these young men as they continue their journey towards becoming members of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart.

* First vows, also called temporary vows, are usually taken for a period of one year and renewed twice before final vows (also called perpetual vows) are taken. Each MSC takes the vows of poverty, chastity and obedience.

**The worldwide congregation of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart is organized into Provinces, Regions, Unions and Sections, depending on how well-established the mission is. The MSC community in Colombia is considered a section of the MSC USA Province, because while it has been blessed with tremendous growth, it still relies on the support of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in the USA.
