Pictures from the MSC community in KoreaThis year, proceeds from our 39th Annual Dinner Dance are going to benefit the MSC in Korea. South Korea’s economy attracts over one million immigrant workers and these workers are often vulnerable. Sometimes their employers take advantage of this vulnerability and refuse to pay them a proper salary. The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart work for justice in these situations and strive to protect the workers’ human rights, in addition to providing them with counseling and sacraments.

The MSC in Korea also run a youth shelter and provide food for children in North Korea (distribution is monitored through the International Red Cross).

Thank you for helping us put the principle of solidarity into practice and live out our missionary character by supporting the great work that our brothers are doing in Korea.
