Lay MSC from Around the World Meet in Santo Domingo PDF Print

Lay members of the Chevalier Family from around the world will come together in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic from  Saturday, November 15 until November 24. The Chevalier Family includes lay and religious members of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC), Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart (MSC Sisters) and the Daughters of the Sacred Heart (FDNSC). Different days of the meeting are organized by Laity from different regions including the Caribbean, Oceania and Asia, Africa and Europe and the Americas.

Lay MSC from Illinois and California including Grace Delgado, Anne Gmeiner, and Danny Gmeiner will be attending the meeting. They will be joined by Br. Warren Perrotto, MSC (Coordinator of Lay MSC in the United States), Fr. Joseph Jablonski, MSC (Provincial Superior) and Fr. Pierre Aubin, MSC who will be doing simultaneous translation between English and French.

Besides the spirituality and mission of the various lay groups, the themes of this year’s international meeting include the Spirituality of the Heart, the media, solidarity and hospitality.
