My experience during this pandemic has given me so many reasons to be thankful to God. There are many things in my life that I have not noticed before and have taken for granted. Now I appreciate them more than ever.
When “lockdown” was imposed, I experienced celebrating the Sunday Mass without the presence of the community. It was an unimaginable experience, especially during the Lenten and Easter seasons of last year. It deepened my understanding and meaning of my ministry. So I am thankful to God for the gift of vocation and giving me the opportunity to serve the people God has entrusted me.
Every day is a blessing. In good times and in bad, God is always present to reveal His love for us. Let us open our eyes to see the many blessings He bestows on us. And let us be thankful as well for all He has done for us.
