September 1, 2024, marked the installation of the MSC-USA new Provincial, Fr. Michael Miller, MSC, elected on July 31 at our Provincial Chapter. Our community witnessed his Commissioning ceremony in our Sacred Heart Villa Chapel at 4 p.m. in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and the Center Valley community. He accepted this new mission for his life to be the Provincial Superior of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart for the United States Province. He will hold this new position for a three-year term. Fr. Michael accepted the leadership challenge for our MSC brothers to live out the spirit and prescriptions of our MSC Constitutions and bylaws. In addition, he promised to work and develop the spirit of our General Chapter of 2023 and our 2024 Provincial Chapter. Together with all the members of our American MSC communities, Fr. Michael plans to strive to enable all of us to be the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart that the Church and the world need today.
