Gene Keppel, Chairperson, and the MSC Golf Committee present a check for $16,000 raised at the MSC 39th Annual Golf Benefit for our retired MSC Priests and Brothers to Brother Hung, MSC House Manger.
Thank you to all the golfers, hole sponsors, and benefactors who helped us make the MSC Annual Golf Benefit a success! The $16,000 we raised continues the years-long efforts by Holy Family and St. John the Baptist Parishes to provide the MSC with a safe and secure environment to enjoy their retirement years after their years of service to us and their missions. New hole sponsors, new golfers, new benefactors, and new ideas will hopefully bring even greater rewards next year.
This year’s 1st place foursome were Fr. Jason Stokes, Mike Schlamp, Chuck Green, and D. J. Rescek with a 15 under par! The prize pot on our 50/50 held at the Holy Family Parish Center was $705 split for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place payout. The Pot ‘o Gold was split evenly 3 ways for $75 each.
Everyone enjoyed fantastic weather, with breakfast and lunch at the golf course and appetizers, drinks, and a delicious steak dinner followed by dozens of homemade desserts at the Holy Family Parish Center in Nazareth, PA. The evening was topped off with the singing of “We are MSC” from our MSC priests and brothers.
Thank you to our Chef Eric and all the many, many volunteers who came out to set up, serve, and clean up. They worked tirelessly all day in their ministry to support the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart!
