Fr. Herman Pongantung
In March, 2022, Fr Herman Pongantung, M.S.C. arrived in Allentown, from ministry within the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart to Chaplain at Health Care Facilities served by the Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena Parish, Allentown with residence at Cathedral of Saint Catharine of Siena Parish, Allentown. He is also Parochial Vicar at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena.
After ‘a break time’ on June 17th 2025, he returned to Cathedral to resume his ministry at the hospitals and nursing centers under the pastoral care of the Cathedral. For more specific details the places where he does service are St Luke’s Hospital Allentown, Hospice St Luke’s Allentown, Arden Courts, Luther Crest, Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center, Jewel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Above and Beyond Knight of Colombus, Above and Beyond Senior Living in Allentown. Travelling over all these places is a daily occupation adding many miles on the car!
