From July 13–16, 2026, the MSC Brs. Warren Perrotto, Joachim Vetenge and Hung Nguyen attended the 55th Annual Assembly of the Religious Brothers Conference at the beautiful Bon Secours Retreat Center in Marriottsville, MD.
There were 31 participants that came from 22 different religious congregations such as Redemptorist, De Lasale, and Salegian Don Bosco. The Benedictine monks in the US and Canada joined the conference as well. The theme was “From Dark to Light”. Mickey McGrath, OSFS Brother presented several histories of lives of the Saints in combination with his own artwork. It was an inspiring talk that strengthened others’ lives to overcome times of troubles.
The gathering of Religious brothers gives all members a chance to experience and learn something new from one another and from different communities. Most everyone agreed that it was a nice location with good food.
On the final morning of the conference, everyone was already looking forward to our next conference in 2027.
